He recorded for EMI the mentioned Brahms violin concerto (with Ida
Haendel), plus Prokofiev's Classical Symphony and Mendelssohn's violin
Concerto. I believe Walter Legge produced these recordings. EMI re-issued
them as a double-CD box in Japan (TOCE-9697-8)
For Decca, he recorded Tchaikovsky'e 5t. Symphony and the Nutcracker Suite
(They have been re-issued and discontonued on CD).
For Urania Records he did Shostakovitch's 7th Symphony (URLP601) with
Berlin Philharmonic and an album containing Debussy's Petite Suite and
Roussel's Petite Suite Op. 39 (URLP 5006), this one with the Symphony
Orchestra of Radio Berlin.
Der Taschengarten was recorded by Mediaphon with theStuttgart Radio
Orchestra in 1979, and released in 1980, and the sales money went to
UNICEF. The edition was not that limited, it just did not have high demand,
since Celi was barely known then outside Europe and Latin America. When I
bought it in New York (1980), they had a few copies in certain stores, but
a year later (1981) I went to Rome and they had it on display in every
Ricordi Store. Celibidache was a big name in Italy.
