It sure is interesting to see that the date given in major publications,
including the yearbook of the MPO, the biographie "Celibidache, der andere
Maestro," the French volume "Rencontres aved un homme extraordinaire:
Celibidache" all give August 14 as the date of death, while Gene Halaburt
states August 13 from a French source. I will continue to consider August 14
as correct since I have found it confirmed in every document which I had a
chance to see.
